How Can I Assign a Task to a Teammate on a Project?

Overview

Assigning tasks helps your team stay organized by giving them clear action items and deadlines. Here’s how to assign one from inside your project.


Steps to Assign a Task to a Teammate

  1. Add your teammate to the project.
    You can only assign tasks to teammates who are already added to the project.

  2. Click the "Tasks" tab in the top‑right of your screen.

  3. Click "Add" to open the task form.

  4. Fill in the task details:

    • Title (e.g., “Call the client”)

    • Assignee (select a teammate already on the project)

    • Due Date

  5. Click "Save" to assign the task.
    The task will appear as an incomplete task marked in the top‑right corner of your screen.
