This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
You can create a Damage Waiver in Goodshuffle Pro by setting it up as a Service in your Inventory. This allows you to automatically calculate a waiver fee on every project using flexible pricing options.
Step 1: Create the Damage Waiver Service
Go to Inventory > Services.
Click “Add Service” and name the item (e.g., “Damage Waiver”).
Set the category to “General Services” or a custom service category you’ve created.
In the Pricing section, choose one of the following structures:
Flat Rate
Percentage of Order
Percentage of Line Item Group
Percentage of Specific Item(s)
Step 2: Apply the Damage Waiver in a Project
Most vendors create a new Line Item Group called “Services” in their projects.
Add your Damage Waiver service to this group.
You can also add other services (like Labor) to this same group to show clients how charges are broken down.
📌 Tip: This helps both your team and your clients see what services are being provided and why.
Important Notes
Services do not calculate off each other.
For example, a Damage Waiver set to calculate as a percentage will not include the cost of labor or taxes in its base. You can always edit or remove the Damage Waiver on a per-project basis, or adjust the rate before sending the quote.
