To access this feature, you must be on Goodshuffle Pro Standard or above.

When your projects include Packages or grouped line items, the Projects List can show a lot of information at once. Goodshuffle Pro gives you tools to control how line items appear so you can scan faster, find specific items, and keep your list readable.

This article walks through the available options and how to use them.

Filter Projects by Line Item Name

You can filter the Projects List to show only projects that include a specific item.

How to Filter by Line Item

  1. Go to your Projects List

  2. Click into the Line Item filter

  3. Type the name of an item (for example, “chair” or “Chiavari chair”)

The list will update to show only projects that contain matching items.

Why this is helpful

  • Quickly answer questions like “Which projects include white chairs?”

  • Narrow large lists without exporting data

  • Use a familiar “Control-F”–style workflow directly in Goodshuffle Pro

View All Line Items for a Project Without Expanding the Row

Each project row keeps a consistent height to make the list easier to scan. To see the full list of items for a project:

How to View Full Line Item Details

  1. Hover over the Line Items cell for a project

  2. Click to open the line item popover

  3. Scroll through the complete list of items

Inside the popover, you can:

  • Scroll through all line items

  • Highlight, copy, and paste text

  • Use “Control-F” to search within the list

This lets you review item details quickly without leaving the Projects List.

Show Only Top-Level (Parent) Line Items

If you use Packages or grouped items, you may want to see only the parent (wrapper) items and hide everything nested underneath.

How to Show Top-Level Items Only

  1. Go to your Projects List

  2. Click “Custom Columns”

  3. Search for and select “Line Items (Top-Level Only)”

Once enabled, the Projects List will display only parent items—such as Package names—while hiding nested contents.

When to Use Each Option

  • Line item filter: Find projects that include a specific item

  • Line item popover: Quickly review all items on a single project

  • Top-level items only: Keep the list high-level and uncluttered

You can mix and match these tools depending on how detailed you want your Projects List to be.
