Why You Should Consider Showing Prices

We strongly recommend keeping pricing visible. Here’s why:

  • Better client experience: Today’s buyers expect instant access to information. Sites that hide pricing often see higher bounce rates and lower engagement—especially from younger, digital-native clients.

  • Stronger sales fit: Transparent pricing helps weed out unqualified leads. You don’t want to waste time fielding inquiries from people who can't afford your services.

  • Avoiding bad actors: Hidden prices suggest negotiability or inconsistency, which can attract scammers and price hagglers. Transparent pricing signals professionalism and helps deter disputes.

That said, there are some strategic reasons you may choose to hide prices—such as showcasing custom pieces or special packages. You might also want to test client behavior with and without visible pricing to see what converts best for your market.

If you do decide to hide prices, Goodshuffle Pro gives you flexible tools to do so, either per item or across specific pages.

How to Hide Prices (Versions 0.5.2 and Later)

If you're using version 0.5.2 or later of the Website Integration (including all Wix users on 0.5.8+), follow these steps:

  1. Open the item’s edit panel in Goodshuffle Pro.

  2. Scroll to the Pricing section.

  3. Locate the pricing type (Daily, Hourly, Purchase, or Flat Fee).

  4. Uncheck the box labeled “Show Pricing on eCommerce.”

⏱ It may take a few minutes for the update to appear on your site.

🔒 This hides the price from all site visitors—including in the page source or network traffic.

⚠️ Avoid hiding all pricing on an item. Clients won’t see different rate types (e.g., daily vs. flat fee), which can create confusion.

How to Hide Prices (Versions 0.5.1 and Earlier)

We recommend upgrading to version 0.5.2+ for better control, but if you're still using 0.5.1 or earlier, use the following CSS method. For versions of the Wishlist 0.5.1 and earlier, the following CSS snippet will hide prices on your entire website.

.gspro-o-price {
display: none !important;
}

On Wix: Add this in a “Custom Code” element.

Note that anyone who can inspect your web page’s source code may be able to see your prices.

To hide pricing on a specific page only:

Want to hide it for just a specific page? Instead of putting it in the page header or in the site styles, you will add the following code snippet to each page you want to hide pricing on:

<style>.gspro-o-price {
display: none !important;
}</style>

To hide pricing on item cards in a list only:

.gspro-c-item-card__price {
display: none !important;
}

This is what your clients will see when there is no price listed for an item:

Strategic Uses for Hidden Pricing

You may want to selectively hide pricing in cases such as:

  • Custom pieces that require quoting

  • Bundled packages with variable components

In these cases, consider using descriptive text like “Contact us for pricing” to guide clients instead of showing $0 or a blank space.

Final Thought: It's Your Site, Your Choice

You can always control your message. If you’re worried about confusing clients, add notes like:

  • “Prices shown are estimates only”

  • “Final pricing depends on location, timing, and availability”
