How to Find Projects

Find any project fast by searching the Projects List by project name, number, venue, or client—now with Exact and Query search modes.

Written by Sierra Burton

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

You can locate a project by using the filters and search bar in the Projects tab.

Use the Filters

  • Use the top-left search bar to search by:

    • Project name or number

    • Venue

    • Client name

  • Apply additional filters like:

    • Sales Lead

    • Project State (such as Draft, Quoted, Signed)

Pro Tip: If a project isn't showing up, double-check your selected Project State filters. Projects only appear if their status is included in your current view.

Search Modes: Query vs. Exact

When you search by Client name, you can choose how closely your results match what you type. Toggle between the two modes using the button next to the search field.

  • Query — A broader search that finds partial matches across the words in a client's name. Reach for this when you don't remember the exact spelling or only recall part of the name.

  • Exact — Matches the client name precisely. Reach for this when you have clients with similar names and want to pull the right one right away.

Looking to search by business name instead? Here's how to see all your projects for a company, which offers the same Query and Exact modes.

Sort by Status

You can also sort projects by sales status using the colored chevrons at the top of the Projects tab. Simply click on each chevron to filter projects by their current state in the sales pipeline.
