This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
From your Finances tab, select "Reports" and choose "Tax". Instead of selecting from the preset dropdown, select "Specific Dates" under the Date Range:
You can select between Cash or Accrual (learn more), then select the dates you'd like to view.
Choosing your date range
Use "Specific Dates" to run the report for the exact range you need, including a single month (for example, June 1 – June 30). There isn't a preset one-click annual report, so to cover a full year you can run the report by quarter and combine the results (see below).
How do I get a full year of tax data?
There isn't a single preset annual report. A reliable way to cover a full year is to run one report per quarter and combine the results:
Q1: January 1 – March 31
Q2: April 1 – June 30
Q3: July 1 – September 30
Q4: October 1 – December 31
Run each quarter using the same reporting method (Cash or Accrual) so the totals are consistent.
Working with your accountant: For questions about which reports or figures you need for your actual tax filing, we recommend working with your local CPA or accountant. They can advise on exactly what applies to your business. Our team is always glad to help you pull the reports themselves.
