If you need to find every project that includes a specific item, the Line Item filter on the Projects List makes it easy. Instead of manually scanning through your projects, you can search by item name and instantly see only the projects that match.

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Using the Line Item Filter

  1. From the left navigation, go to "Projects."

  2. Click "Filters" in the top left corner to open the Filters panel.

  3. Under the "Line Item" field, type the name of the item you're looking for.

Search Modes: Exact vs. Query

The Line Item filter offers two search modes, which you can toggle using the button next to the search field.

  • Exact — Returns only projects where the line item name matches your search term exactly. If there's a typo or partial match, no results will appear.

  • Query — Returns projects that contain any of the words in your search term. For example, searching "White Folding Chair" in Query mode would surface projects containing "White," "Folding," or "Chair" anywhere in their line items.

Combining Filters

The Line Item filter works alongside your other active filters. For example, you can filter by line item and by project name at the same time to narrow your results further.
