This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
Click “Add” in the Logistics section of the contract.
You will have two options:
Delivery Drop-Off / Pickup
In-Store Carryout / Return
Delivery Drop-Off / Pickup
Select this option if the rented items will be delivered to and/or picked up from the venue. By selecting this option the venue’s address will auto populate, but you can override this if needed.
Note: You can set multiple delivery types in advance under Inventory-> Services, making it quick and easy to add your preferences for each contract.
Fill out all delivery information. For drop-off and pickup times you can pin-point an exact time or specify a window of time when the delivery / pickup will occur. If any details have auto populated, you can easily override and edit them. Click “Save” once all details are entered to add to the contract. Be sure to enter both drop-off and pickup!
When you have set up Delivery and Pickup correctly, you will see that your two trucks in your Project Timeline (at the bottom of your Project page) are facing each other, like so:
In-Store Carryout / Return
Select this option if items will be picked up and returned to your location, instead of delivered to the venue.
Note: Taxes are calculated based on the location where goods are exchanged. This means that you might see a different tax rate showing between the Delivery Drop-Off / Pickup and In-Store Pickup / Return options if they are in different counties.
Fill out all in-store pickup details. If any details have auto populated, you can easily override and edit them. Click “Save” once all details are entered to add to the contract. Once you’ve added the in-store pickup details and saved, select this option again to add the return details to the contract. Again, make sure to enter both Carryout and Return.
When you’ve set up your In-Store Carryout / Return properly, two people will face each other in your Project Timeline, like so:
Adding logistics to a specific Line Item Group
When a project has multiple Line Item Groups, you can add a delivery or carryout entry to an individual group from that group's menu, rather than only at the project level. This is useful when different groups of items have different delivery details.
Two things to keep in mind when you do this:
Logistics attached to a Line Item Group are treated like a service line and will not appear in Dispatch. To make a delivery visible to your team in Dispatch, add it as a separate entry in the project's Logistics section instead.
Adding logistics to a Line Item Group does not change how inventory availability is calculated. Availability is always based on the full project window, not the individual group. See Understanding Item Availability and Conflicts for details.
