This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Let’s say your item includes an accessory at no additional charge (e.g., a nacho cheese dispenser comes with one bag of cheese), but your client wants more of that accessory. Here’s how to charge for those extras without duplicating inventory.

Step 1: Create the Accessory as an Inventory Item

  1. Click on “Inventory”.

  2. Click “Add Product.”

  3. Fill in the details for the accessory (e.g., Bag of Nacho Cheese).

Step 2: Create the Main Item and Link the Accessory

  1. Create a new inventory item (e.g., Nacho Cheese Dispenser).

  2. In the description, mention that one bag is included.

  3. Go to the “Accessories” tab:

    • Add the Bag of Cheese as a required accessory.

    • Set quantity to 1.

    • Check “Auto-Hide” so it's hidden from the client’s contract view.

Step 3: Add the Item to a Project

When you add the Nacho Cheese Dispenser to a project:

  • One Bag of Cheese will be automatically included.

  • It will not appear on the client’s view or be charged.

Step 4: Add an Extra Accessory to Charge the Client

If the client wants more:

  1. Click the “Related Item” box next to the main item.

  2. Add another Bag of Cheese.

  3. Uncheck “Auto-Hide” so it appears on the client’s quote and is billed accordingly.
