How Can I Recalculate Taxes on a Project?

Here's how you can recalculate taxes on your project

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Let's say you've just switched over to cumulative tax or your tax rate has changed - you may need to recalculate the taxes on a Project to ensure accuracy in contracts and invoices - helping avoid billing errors or tax reporting issues.

  1. Click More in the top right corner of your screen

  2. Click 'Recalculate Taxes' The system will automatically apply the updated tax rates based on the project location, ensuring the changes are reflective of the correct tax information.

Note that this will change a Signed Contract into an Unsigned Changes State

Keep in mind that recalculating taxes may affect the project's total, which will in turn adjust the remaining balance owed. If a deposit has already been collected, it will remain applied to the project — but the amount due will update to reflect the new tax total.
