This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
You can easily set or update the Event Dates on any project to reflect when the job begins and ends. This is especially useful for logistics planning and clear client communication.
Let's say you have an event from the 5th to the 10th and you want these dates to show on your quote/ invoice.
First, click 'edit' on Project Info on the left side of your Project:
Next, add in the Start and End time and click Save:
Now when you go to create Line Item Groups, they will match the start and end dates:
FYI - Without the Start/End times, the Line Item Groups will default to today's date.
Goodshuffle Pro currently supports only a single Event Start and End Time per project. For multi-day events with different times each day, see the next steps below.
In addition to helping you time your Line Item Groups, the Start/End times will also appear on the quote and invoice, and on the custom column.
Limitations for Multi-Day Events Goodshuffle Pro currently supports only a single Event Start and End Time per project. This setup simplifies event management for single-day events but introduces challenges for multi-day events where different times are required for each day.
If your event spans multiple days and requires unique times for each day, consider the following workarounds:
Create Separate Projects for Each Day: For multi-day events, you can create a separate project for each day to set unique Event Start and End Times for each project.
Use Logistics Entries for Additional Calendar Blocks: To manage additional time blocks during a multi-day event, create logistics entries as drop-off windows. Mark these logistics as "hidden" to ensure they remain internal and are not visible to clients.
