This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
Goodshuffle Pro allows you to manage three key date types on your projects: Event Dates, Line Item Group Dates, and Logistics Dates. Each serves a specific purpose and may affect pricing, conflicts, and client visibility differently.
Event Dates
Great to include on the Project Info, as this will appear at the top of the Quote/Invoice for the client. Event Dates will not impact pricing or availability of your items.
Adjust your event dates under "Project Info"
Line Item Group Dates
If the Event Dates are added, the Line Item Groups' dates will match them. Line Item Group Dates will provide a first pass at identifying conflicts (until Logistics are added) and, more importantly, determine the price for the Daily Priced items. By setting the Event Date before creating a Line Item Group, you ensure that all line items default to the Event Start Date, aligning all associated dates accurately and avoiding discrepancies.
Logistics Dates
Logistics (or delivery dates) will take priority in determining conflicts and will determine the Tax required for that specific order. Additionally, Logistics Dates play a critical role in reporting and reconciling totals by aligning delivery details with the contract data.
