How Do Conflicts Work With Unsigned Changes?

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

When you edit a signed project—like reducing the number of rented items—those updates move into the Unsigned Changes state until your client re-approves the contract.

So what happens to conflicts during that time?

Example: A Chair Conflict

Let’s say you have a signed contract for 75 chairs, and there’s an inventory conflict because only 60 are available.

You Reduce the Quantity (But Haven’t Re-Signed)

You update the chair quantity to 50, but the client hasn’t signed yet. The project is now in Unsigned Changes.

Why is the conflict still showing?
Because the system is still calculating conflicts based on the last signed version—which is 75 chairs.

Once the Client Signs...

As soon as the client re-signs, the contract is updated, and the system will reflect the new quantity (50 chairs). The conflict will be removed automatically.

Remember:
Goodshuffle Pro calculates inventory conflicts using the most recently signed contract. Unsigned changes do not update conflict status until they are approved.
