When you're creating (Article) or editing (Article) a contact, you'll see an area to add in an address. Managing addresses is crucial for ensuring accurate invoicing and smooth client interactions. Validating addresses before finalizing invoices helps prevent errors and ensures that all client information is up-to-date.
Validating an Address for an Invoice
If the address provided for an invoice does not seem valid, follow these steps to verify and correct it:
Use a reliable mapping tool, such as Google Maps, to locate the exact street address of the venue.
Once you have confirmed the correct address, enter it into Goodshuffle Pro.
Select the correct address from the dropdown menu in the system.
Double-check the address to ensure it is valid before proceeding, as this will help correctly process the order.
Amending an Invoice to Include a Billing Address
To include a specific billing address on an invoice, separate from the venue address listed on the contract:
Navigate to the client's directory entry in Goodshuffle.
Add the desired billing address to the directory entry.
The billing address will automatically appear on the invoice in addition to the venue address.
This will show as the client's billing address on their invoices.
As well as in the Invoice in QuickBooks Online. Ensure that any modifications to billing addresses are confirmed as accurate before finalizing the invoice. To add or edit billing addresses, access the client directory, input the correct information, and confirm that the updated billing address displays correctly alongside the venue address on the invoice.
