In Dispatch, you’ll notice two sets of times: Scheduled Times and Contract Times. Understanding their purpose helps avoid confusion when planning Routes and ensuring on-time delivery or pickup.
Contract Times: These are the times listed in the signed contract (e.g., when a venue rental starts or ends).
Scheduled Times: These are the internal planning times you set in Dispatch for tasks like loading, driving, or a planned lunch break. They may start or end earlier/later than the Contract Times to give your team buffer room.
Key Differences
Internal vs. External: Scheduled Times are for internal planning; Contract Times are shared with the client.
Flexibility: Scheduled Times can be adjusted as needed, while Contract Times are fixed once the client signs the contract.
Conflict Alerts: If you schedule a time that conflicts with the Contract Time, Goodshuffle Pro will highlight it in the Dispatch planner to keep you on track.
How to change Scheduled Times
You can change scheduled times by clicking on the stop, then the pencil icon in the top right. Under the calendar, there will be options to change scheduled times for that stop.
You can also click and drag on either end of the stop to adjust scheduled times:
