What Is "Time on Site"?
“Time on Site” refers to how long a driver is scheduled to remain at a specific stop, such as a delivery or warehouse. This includes tasks like unloading, paperwork, setup, or refueling.
Keeping this time accurate helps your route planner build efficient, realistic schedules—so you avoid late arrivals, driver overtime, or over-promising to clients.
Ways to Adjust "Time on Site"
Editing Time Manually on a Route
If you’ve already created a route, you can adjust the “Time on Site” for any stop:
Click on the stop in your route.
Select “Edit”.
Change the “Scheduled Arrival” and/or “Scheduled Departure” times.
Note: This won't affect the drop-off or pickup times listed on the contract.
Click “Save”.
Adjusting by Dragging Stop Tiles
You can also visually modify the time spent at each stop:
Drag the stop tile to the right to increase time.
Drag it to the left to decrease time.
This is a fast way to rebalance your route when changes occur on the fly.
Set Default Durations for Warehouse and Waypoints
Full Users can configure default "Time on Site" values that apply when new waypoints or warehouse stops are added to a route.
To access these settings:
Navigate to the left menu and click “Dispatch”, then “Settings.”
In the Default Durations section, you’ll see:
Warehouse Duration (minutes): Time spent at the warehouse for origin/destination stops.
Waypoint Duration (minutes): Time spent at typical delivery/pickup stops.
Adjust the values to your desired defaults.
Click “Save Settings”.
