The ‘Logistics Summary’ Custom Column in your Projects list allows you to monitor and manage your project’s stops. By providing detailed information about the logistics associated with each project, this column helps you stay on top of scheduling and routing with ease.

How can I add the 'Logistics Summary' Custom Column to my Project List view?

  1. Navigate to your 'Projects tab'

  2. Click 'Edit Columns' at the top right

  3. Click the drop-down for 'Fulfillment' and select 'Logistics Summary'

    1. You can click the two rows of three dots to drag this Custom Column higher (i.e., to the left of your Projects List view) or lower (i.e., to the right of your Projects List view)

  4. Click 'Update Columns'

  5. Hover over a truck under the 'Logistics Summary' Custom Column to view route information

Note that logistics with Conflicts (i.e., overlapping waypoints in a Route) will appear as a red truck under the 'Logistics Summary' column. Follow the steps below to resolve this.

  1. Hover over the red truck symbol

  2. Click 'View in Dispatch'

  3. Edit the waypoint or waypoints to resolve the Route conflicts

What route information is included when using the 'Logistics Summary' Custom Column?

1. Identifying Projects Without Stops

If a project has no stops created (i.e., the route planner hasn’t been loaded yet), the column will display "No Routed Logistics." This serves as a clear indicator that logistics need to be planned and scheduled.

2. Tracking Unrouted Logistics

When a project has an unrouted logistic, the stop will appear as "Unscheduled" without showing a route name. From this point, you can navigate directly to the Route Planner from the popup to assign it to a route.

3. Monitoring Routed Logistics

For projects with routed logistics, the column will display "Scheduled" along with the name of the route. Additionally, you can:

  • View the stop’s position within its route (e.g., Stop #3)

  • Check the logistic type (drop-off or pickup) in the popup

  • Confirm the associated project name, address, and time on site

4. Tracking Routes in Progress

If a routed logistic is on a route that has been marked as started by its driver, the updated status will appear in the popup. This allows you to keep tabs on active routes and their progress.

5. Navigating Directly to Routes

The ‘Logistics Summary’ popup offers shortcuts for efficient navigation:

  • For routed logistics, you can jump directly to the corresponding route in ‘My Routes’ to view its details

  • For unrouted logistics, you can quickly access the Route Planner to create and assign routes as needed

By leveraging the ‘Logistics Summary’ column, you can streamline the process of managing stops, ensure every project stays on schedule, and maintain clear visibility into your routes.
