Assigning roles to your crew helps streamline communication, clarify responsibilities, and ensure your event runs smoothly. In Goodshuffle Pro, you can assign specific roles to each team member on a route or waypoint, so everyone knows exactly what they’re responsible for.

Step-by-Step: How to Assign Roles

  1. Navigate to the Dispatch tab in your account.

  2. Select a Route or Waypoint
Click into the Route or specific Waypoint where you’d like to assign crew members.

  3. Assign Crew
Use the “Assign Crew” option to add team members. You can assign full users or limited users.

  4. Choose a Role
For each person you assign, select a role from the dropdown menu:

    • Crew Member
Assists with general responsibilities such as loading, setup, teardown, or on-site support.

    • Driver
Responsible for operating the vehicle and managing transport logistics.

Can a user have different roles for different routes?

Yes, you can assign multiple roles to a single crew member across different routes. However, if a user is assigned overlapping roles at the same time, such as being scheduled for two stops that conflict, you'll see a conflict warning. This notice helps prevent double-booking and ensures clear scheduling for everyone involved.

What Happens After The Roles Are Assigned?

  • Assigned crew members receive email notifications with details about their role and assignment.

  • They’ll also see their assignments in the My Routes view under Dispatch.
