This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

You’ve likely heard the adage “A picture is worth a thousand words,” but more importantly, you know images help sell. With Goodshuffle Pro, you can choose how and where item images appear: internally, externally, or both.

Where Do Images Appear?

Client-Facing

Images can display on:

  • Quotes

  • Invoices

  • Receipt of Goods and Services

Clients can also launch an interactive image gallery when viewing quotes and invoices online.

Images also show on:

Internal

  • Pull Sheets - (Goodshuffle Pro Standard and above)

Note: Images currently do not appear on the printed schedule pull sheets.

How to Enable Images

You can control whether item images appear on documents at the account level or the project level.

To enable images for all projects:

  1. Go to Account > Settings

  2. Toggle on the appropriate settings to show images by default.

*Showing photos on pull sheets is available for Goodshuffle Pro Standard and above.

To enable images on a single project:

  1. Open the contract.

  2. Click the settings panel.

  3. Check the image display to turn on or off for that specific project.

Supported Image Types and Sizes

  • File types: JPG, PNG, PDF, GIF

  • Max file size: 8MB

  • Recommended size: At least 760px wide

  • Aspect ratio: 16:9

Image Behavior on Printed & Online Materials

  • The “Primary Image” is used on all printed materials (quotes, invoices, pull sheets, etc.)

  • Additional images appear in the online gallery view

  • You can add up to 15 images per Inventory item

Tip:

Choose a clear, front-facing product image as your Primary Image to help your clients and team instantly recognize the item.

Online Image Galleries (Client View)

You can upload multiple images per item. When clients view quotes or invoices online, they can launch an image gallery to see:

  • Close-ups of fabrics or finishes

  • Items in a styled set

  • Different angles or usage examples

If you add a caption, it will appear beneath the image to provide extra context or storytelling.

Inventory vs Custom Item Images

Inventory Items

  • Add images via the edit item panel in your Inventory section.

  • Changes apply globally to all contracts.

  • The Primary Image appears on printed materials.

  • All uploaded images appear in online galleries.

Custom Items

  • Click the photo icon in the “edit line item” screen to upload images.

  • The first uploaded image becomes the Primary Image.

  • You can add captions and crop images directly in the modal.
