Why didn't my project sync with Google Calendar?

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

After you set up your Google Calendar Integration, the final step is to click the “Start Calendar Sync” on your Integrations page. You can choose to Automatically sync your Goodshuffle Pro project event times and project deliveries and pickups to Google Calendar.

Troubleshooting Google Calendar Sync Issues

Synchronizing Google Calendar with Goodshuffle Pro can be incredibly useful for keeping track of events and project timelines. However, syncing issues may arise. Below, you'll find a detailed troubleshooting guide to address common problems:

  1. Ensure Event Dates Are Added to Your Project Verify that you’ve added the event date to your project in Goodshuffle Pro. Missing event dates will prevent syncing

  2. Select the Correct Calendar for Syncing

    1. Company Calendar: Syncs all projects

    2. My Project Calendar: Syncs only projects assigned to you. Make sure you’re syncing with the right calendar type based on your preferences

  3. Choose Your Desired Display Settings. Decide what you want to appear on your calendar, either:

    1. The 'Events start/end' dates

    2. Logistics-related details. Ensure the correct options are selected to align with your needs

  4. Force a Re-Sync Using the Following Steps:

    1. Unsubscribe from all Goodshuffle Pro calendars on your Google Calendar

    2. Disconnect the Google Calendar integration within Goodshuffle Pro

    3. Reconnect the integration

    4. Go back to Goodshuffle Pro and manually click Sync in the calendar settings

  5. Adjust Your Sync Settings If you prefer to see only event dates without logistics details, modify the CALENDAR SYNC settings for your integration

  6. Remove and Repair the Integration if Necessary If syncing issues persist after the steps above:

    1. Permanently remove Goodshuffle Pro calendars from Google Calendar

    2. Re-add the integration by setting it up fresh within Goodshuffle Pro. With these methods, most syncing problems should be resolved
