This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
When you issue a refund through Goodshuffle Pro, it's processed via Stripe. If your client's card has changed or expired, Stripe works with their bank to ensure the refund still reaches them.
What Happens When a Card Is No Longer Active?
If your client has a new or replacement card, the bank will usually re-route the refund automatically to that card.
If the client doesn't have a new card, the refund is typically sent to their linked bank account.
If neither of these options is available:
The refund is returned to Stripe, and
Stripe will notify Goodshuffle Pro, and our team will reach out to you via chat to help resolve it.
This ensures that refunds are handled securely and reach the intended recipient, even when cards are updated.
