What is the project timeline?

What's this bar at the bottom of my project? How do I know where I am in the event execution process?

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

The project timeline is the visual display of key time-based contract elements like the ones you see below.

It will show you all instances of:

  • Line Item Groups dates

  • Delivery Logistics dates and times

  • Store Logistics dates and times

These events are very important when determining the conflict window of an event, and to understand what state the event is in.

Pre-Event State: When the current time is before any of the events on the timeline, including the start of a delivery window, the start of an in-store pickup window, or the start of a line item group. Here’s an example of a Pre-Event timeline:

In Progress State: When the current time is equal to or after the first event on the timeline, including the start of a delivery window, the start of an in-store pickup window, or the start of a line item group. Here’s an example of an In Progress timeline:

Event Complete State: When the current time is after the last event on the timeline, including the end of a delivery window, the end of an in-store return window, or the end of a line item group. Here’s an example of a Post-Event timeline:

Here is the ‘anatomy’ of the project timeline for those that want to understand what each symbol on your timeline means:

And finally, if you are using the In-Store Carryout or Return logistics options, you will see icons for people instead of trucks:
