This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro plans.

Ready to send your first quote? In Goodshuffle Pro, every quote starts with a project. From there, you’ll add all the important details like rental items, client info, and event logistics, before sending it out with a single click.

Add Your Project

To get started, click the “Create New Project” button at the bottom left corner of any screen.

If this is the first time you are creating a Project, you will see a quick automated tutorial.

Build Your Quote

Once the project is created, it’s time to fill in the essentials:

Add Your Client

Click “Add Client” and enter their name and email—this is who will receive the quote. You can also fill in additional client details, such as their phone number and billing address.

💡 Pro Tip: The address in the client view is used for billing. If the billing and venue address are the same, check the “Venue” box to copy it over. Otherwise, be sure to add the venue separately.

Including a venue helps the system calculate delivery distances and costs automatically.

Name Your Project and Set Event Details

Give your project a clear, descriptive name. If you don’t enter one, the system will automatically name it using the client and venue.

You can also select an Event Type for improved tracking and reporting.

Adding Event Dates to the Project Info is highly recommended—these dates will display at the top of the client’s quote or invoice.

📌 Note: Event Dates are for reference only and do not impact item pricing or availability. Instead, it is the Line Item Group Dates that determine the price for daily priced items. If Event Dates are added, the Line Item Group Dates will match them, but only the Line Item Group Dates affect pricing calculations for items with daily rates.

For delivery and pickup scheduling, you'll set separate Logistics Dates.

Add Rental Items

Search and select inventory items; rental periods will prepopulate based on the event date you added in the step above. You can have a different rental period for each Line Item group. Items are organized by default into groups for easy customization.

Add Logistics

Provide delivery, pickup, and setup details so your client knows exactly what to expect. Be sure to add logistics twice—once for delivery and once for pickup—to ensure both legs of the trip are covered.

Set Your Terms

Your default payment terms, refund policies, and other conditions will appear automatically—but you can edit these as needed.

Optional Details

You can also add the following:

  • PO number

  • Related company name

  • Day-of-event contact

  • Internal project notes

These fields can help with more advanced tracking and communication, but aren’t required to send a quote.

Send Your Quote

Once all the necessary details are in place, your quote is ready to go!

Click “Send” in the top right corner of the project page.

🟡 Your project will appear in yellow on your Projects page until it’s been sent. Once sent, it turns blue to show it’s in your client’s hands.

⚠️ Before You Send: Set Up Quote Expiration

By default, the quote email template includes a token that references the quote expiration date. If you haven’t set this up yet, you may see an error when trying to send your first quote.
