This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
When you build contracts, the same groupings of items tend to come up again and again — a lounge setup, a ceremony package, a standard bar build. Instead of rebuilding those from scratch each time, you can copy a line item, a full package, or a batch of selected items and paste them somewhere else in the same contract.
Copy a Single Line Item
Open the action menu (the three dots) on any line item and choose Copy Line Item. You'll see a confirmation that the item was copied. Copying captures everything attached to that line item:
The inventory item it points to
Quantity
Pricing and any pricing overrides
Notes and description
Date and time fields (for hourly line items)
Tax rates
Whether it's hidden from the client view
Then, open the action menu (the three dots) on any line item where you would like to add this item, and click Place Line Item:
Copy a Package and Its Contents
A package copies as a whole. Open the action menu on the package and choose Copy — you'll bring along the package name, its pricing structure and any package-level overrides, and every line item inside it (each with all of the attributes listed above).
Copy Several Items at Once
Need more than one thing? Select multiple line items and packages in the contract editor, then copy them as a batch. The confirmation shows how many items you copied, and the batch keeps its order and grouping so it lands the same way when you paste.
Paste Into the Same Contract
Once something is copied, a Paste action becomes available in the contract editor. You can paste:
Into a different line item group within the same contract
Into a different package within the same contract
As a top-level line item
Pasted items keep every attribute they had when you copied them, and a pasted batch keeps its original order and grouping.
Good to know:
Copy and paste stays within a single contract. The clipboard clears when you navigate away from the project, and you can't paste copied items into a different project.
You can't paste into the logistics line item group.
If a pasted item has an availability conflict, you'll still be able to paste it — the conflict is flagged afterward so you can resolve it from the Fulfillment tab (for example, via a subrental).
