To access this feature, you must be on Goodshuffle Pro Standard or above.
Goodshuffle Pro allows you to reassign entire routes between vehicles directly from the Route Planner. This is especially useful for last-minute changes, balancing workloads, or managing vehicle availability.
How to Reassign a Route
To reassign a route:
Navigate to the “Route Planner”.
Click on the "Pencil" icon in the Route you'd like to move to open the Route Detail Side Panel.
In the Vehicle dropdown, select a different vehicle.
Once selected, the route will automatically be rescheduled onto the newly chosen vehicle.
What Happens if You’re at Dispatch Capacity?
If your company is at or near its dispatch vehicle capacity for the day, Goodshuffle Pro will help prevent accidental overages.
Here’s what to expect:
In the Vehicle dropdown:
Vehicles that are not yet booked for the day will display a warning subtitle indicating a capacity risk.
If you attempt to select a vehicle that would exceed your capacity:
A warning window(or purchase window) will appear.
You’ll be notified that moving the route would put you over capacity.
You can choose to proceed with a purchase to expand your capacity or cancel the action.
❗ If you close out the window or click "Cancel", the route will remain on the originally assigned vehicle—no changes will be made.
Example Scenario
Let’s say your plan allows for two dispatch capacities per day and you already have routes on two separate vehicles. If one vehicle already has multiple routes and you try to move another route onto it:
You’ll see a capacity warning in the dropdown.
If you continue, the window will alert you of the capacity limit.
Closing out the window will undo the move.
How to Edit Route Details
You can also quickly view or edit basic route information directly from the Route Planner.
To do this:
Locate a route in the Route Planner.
Click the pencil icon on the route’s header.
A side panel will open on the right with editable fields including:
Route Name
Route Color
Route Notes
A “View in My Routes” button to preview the route from your crew’s perspective.
This makes it easy to rename or add notes to routes without navigating away from the planner view.
