This feature is available on Goodshuffle Pro Standard and above.
When using the Auto Route feature in Goodshuffle Pro's Route Planner, you can define a time range for your routes by setting an Earliest Start Time and a Latest End Time. This ensures that all generated routes fall within your designated operating hours.
Setting Default Times in Dispatch Settings
To define your default auto routing hours:
Go to Dispatch > Settings.
Under Shift Time Constraints, enter:
Earliest Shift Start Time
Latest Shift End Time
Click Save Settings.
All resulting Auto Routes will:
Begin no earlier than the Earliest Start Time
End no later than the Latest End Time
Note: Timing is calculated based on warehouse departure and return
Time Validation Rules
To ensure valid inputs:
The system prevents entering a start time later than the end time
The system also prevents entering an end time earlier than the start time
If either occurs, you’ll be prompted to correct the input before proceeding.
What Do These Time Settings Control?
The Earliest Start Time and Latest End Time represent the timeframe within which trucks can depart from and return to the warehouse during routing.
Start Time: When a truck may leave the origin warehouse
End Time: When a truck must return to the destination warehouse
🧠 Important: This time range is measured from the departure from the origin warehouse to the return to the destination warehouse. It does not refer to the time of the first or last delivery/pickup.
