Preparing for a Video Call With the Goodshuffle Pro Team

Why We Use Live Video Calls

Sometimes, the fastest way to solve a problem, walk through a setup, or review your account is with a quick live call. Our team uses Zoom and Google Meet to connect in real time, answer your questions, and guide you by viewing your Goodshuffle Pro account through screen sharing.

This article will help you get ready for your call—no tech experience needed.


What to Have Ready

Before your scheduled call:

  • A free Zoom or Google Meet account (we’ll send the link)

  • A computer or laptop (best for screen sharing)

  • Your Goodshuffle Pro login info

  • About 30 minutes (depending on the topic)


How to Join Your Call

If You Receive a Zoom Link

  1. Open the email from our team

  2. Click the Zoom link (e.g., https://zoom.us/j/123456789)

  3. Allow Zoom to launch (browser may prompt you)

  4. Click “Join with Computer Audio”

  5. Grant mic/camera access if prompted

First time with Zoom? You might be asked to download it. Click “Download & Run Zoom”—it’s quick!


If You Receive a Google Meet Link

  1. Open the email from our team

  2. Click the Meet link (e.g., https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij)

  3. Click “Ask to join”

  4. Allow mic/camera access if asked

  5. Wait a moment—our team will let you in

Tip: Google Meet works best in Google Chrome. Try that browser if you're having trouble.


How to Share Your Screen

Sometimes we’ll ask you to share your screen so we can guide you step-by-step in your account.

Zoom

  1. Click the green “Share Screen” button at the bottom

  2. Choose:

    • “Screen 1” to share everything

    • Or your browser window with Goodshuffle Pro

  3. Click “Share”

🛑 To stop sharing: Click “Stop Share” at the top


Google Meet

  1. Click “Present now” at the bottom

  2. Choose:

    • “Your entire screen” (recommended)

    • Or “A window” (your browser)

  3. Click “Share”

🛑 To stop: Click “Stop presenting”


Pro Tips for a Smooth Call

  • Log into Goodshuffle Pro before the meeting

  • Close extra tabs/programs to avoid distractions

  • Take notes if anything stands out

  • Ask questions—this is your time!

  • No pressure—we’ll walk you through everything


Common Call Issues and Fixes

Link Not Working?

  • Copy and paste the link into your browser

  • Email us to request a fresh link

No Audio?

  • Unmute your mic (icon at bottom)

  • Check mic/speaker settings via the arrow next to the mic

  • Try reconnecting headphones or using chat to communicate

Can’t Share Screen?

  • Let us know—we’ll guide you or share ours first

Video Lagging?

  • Turn off your camera to reduce bandwidth

  • Close streaming apps or background programs

  • Move closer to your WiFi router

  • Tell us—we’ll adjust or reschedule if needed

Left the Meeting?

  • Rejoin using the same link—our team will still be there!


Need to Reschedule?

No worries! Just reply to our email or message us at [email protected] and we’ll find a better time.

  • Click the link we sent

  • Follow the prompts

  • Share your screen if asked
