How does package multiplication work?

Here's what happens to the contents of a package when you increase the quantity of the package itself.

Let's say you have a tent package that needs some stakes, cables, a dance floor, and the tent itself.

When I increase the quantity of the package on a contract, the contents will multiply themselves accordingly.
