This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
Because the email address is how the system identifies your contacts, no two contacts can share the same email address.
Here’s how to find which contact is currently using an email and how to reassign it:
Step 1: Search for the Email in Your Directory
Click on “Directory” in the left-hand menu.
Type the email address into the search bar.
Click “View” next to the contact using that email.
Step 2: Update or Remove the Email from the Existing Contact
Click the pencil icon to “Edit” the contact.
You can:
Rename the contact if it was created under the wrong name, or
Remove or replace the email address.
Click “Save” to confirm changes.
Step 3: Add the Email to a New or Correct Contact
Now that the email is no longer in use, you can assign it to the correct contact:
Navigate to that contact’s profile in the Directory.
Click “Edit” and paste the email address.
Save the contact.
💡 Pro Tip: If you accidentally assign the email to the wrong contact, just repeat these steps to remove it and reassign again.
