This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

If you want to quickly identify which projects have outstanding balances, you can customize your Project List to show the Billing Status column. Here's how:

1. Go to Your Project List

Click the “Projects” tab from the main navigation on the left.

2. Click “Edit Custom Columns”

In the upper right of your Project List, click Edit Custom Columns.”

3. Add the “Billing Status” Column

In the column menu, scroll or search under the Financial section for “Billing Status.” Add it to your visible columns and save your view.

4. Filter by Date or Other Fields (Optional)

Narrow your view by filtering:

  • Event date

  • Signed date

  • Venue

  • Sales lead

  • Contract status

You can also sort the column to bring “Due” projects to the top.

This helps isolate active or upcoming projects with unpaid balances.

5. Review Your Billing Statuses

Once added, your Project List will show one of these statuses for each project:

  • Due: The client still owes money

  • Paid: No payment is due

  • Overpaid: More than the total was paid

  • Pending: A payment is pending (e.g., ACH payments)
