This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

You can control whether cancellation policies appear on your quotes and contracts, either across your entire account or for individual projects.

This is especially helpful if:

  • You don’t offer cancellations and don’t want to confuse clients.

  • You run certain projects with unique terms and want flexibility.

Turn Off Cancellation Policies Account-Wide

To stop showing a cancellation policy on all future quotes and contracts:

  1. From the left-hand menu, click Account.

  2. Select the Settings tab at the top.

  3. Scroll down to the Contract Settings section.

  4. Toggle “Show cancellation policy on contract” to Off.

💡Only remove this if your cancellation language is covered in your Terms & Conditions.

Remove Cancellation Policy on a Single Project

If you want to hide the policy on one specific (unsigned) project:

  1. Open the project in question.

  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Project Settings.

  3. Scroll to the Contract Settings section.

  4. Uncheck “Show cancellation policy on contract.”

Can I Remove a Policy from a Signed Contract?

Once a contract is signed, it’s locked in with the original cancellation policy.

However, you can:

  1. Duplicate the signed project.

  2. This creates a new unsigned version.

  3. Then, follow the project-level instructions above to turn off the cancellation policy before sending.
