Will Payment Authorizations Complete on Lost Projects?

Find out what happens to payment authorizations when a project is marked as lost.

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

If a project is marked as Lost, any pending payment authorizations associated with that project will not be completed.

This means:

  • The client’s card will not be charged.

  • If your client would like to proceed with the event, but you do not want a charge to auto-capture, you will need to remove the current authorization from the projct before you unmark the it as "Lost".

“Lost” projects are those marked as canceled or not going forward. You can update a project’s status at any time from the top of the project view.
