Sometimes you need to charge an additional fee for part of a contract, but not the whole thing. This functions similarly to creating a discount, but instead applies a fee.

To begin, you will need to create a ‘General Service.’ Configure the service in a way that makes sense for your fee, and select the ‘Percent of Line Item Group’ pricing structure. Finish completing your service and save.

Next, go to the project and line item group that you’d like to apply the fee to, then click ‘Add Inventory Item.’

Select ‘Services,’ then search for or scroll down to your fee (I named mine ‘Outdoor Fee”). Click ‘Add.’

Your fee is now applied to your line item group! This is what it will look like:
