Why Is a Payment Pending?

Learn why a payment may show as “Pending” in Goodshuffle Pro, including ACH delays and account setup issues.

Why Do Payments Show as Pending?

There are two common reasons a payment may appear as Pending in your Goodshuffle Pro account:

Is Your Account Setup Complete?

If you see a yellow bar at the top of your screen, Stripe (our payment processor) may require additional information from your account to complete the transfer to your bank.

Did Your Customer Pay with an ACH Payment?

ACH (eCheck) payments take 3–5 business days to clear and will appear as "Pending" while processing.

You can see which Method of Payment they used (Credit Card or ACH) from the Project's Billing tab.

When the client has paid a final balance for a project through ACH, the project will show as 'Pending' while the funds are processing.
