This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
Let's say you have damaged linens or furniture returned to you after events and, for future reporting, you want to know how much money was made on each damaged item from a category.
First, add a damaged item as a product in your inventory. In this case, you can title these items as 'Damaged Linens' or 'Damaged Furniture' and then price them as a Flat Fee that can be customized or overridden later.
Second, create a new package titled 'Damaged Items' (or a title of your choosing), select 'Priced by Contents (All)', and then click 'Save & Continue'.
On the following page, select 'Relations' and then 'Contents' to add 'Damaged Linens' and/or 'Damaged Furniture' as Contents to this package. You will want to ensure 'required' and 'auto-hide' are not selected before clicking 'Save & Close'.
Third, add this package to the project where damaged items were returned. From the Line Item Group, you can select the relations tab for the package to add the type of product that was damaged. From here, you can hide the damaged item within the package from your client and you can also choose to override the price of the item if necessary.
Finally, you can use your Inventory Custom Columns to determine the amount of money made on the 'Damaged Items' Package during a given time period. You'll want to ensure you have added your Gross Revenue Custom Column in your Inventory before filtering by the package name.
