This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Use this table to understand when to use tags versus attributes in Goodshuffle Pro:

Tags

Attributes

Keywords or terms you apply to items or services.

Used to describe specific details about your items.

Helpful when searching for items.

Useful for filtering and sorting inventory.

Often used to group items by collection or event type.

Helps track the location of items in your warehouse.

Great for showcasing a collection of items on your website using the Website Integration.

You can create custom attributes like "Original Cost" or "Condition."

Attributes can be internal only or shared with clients.

Real-Life Examples

Tag Example:
You’re prepping for a casino-themed event. You can search for the tag “Casino” to instantly find all items labeled for that theme.

Attribute Example:
You’d like to track where tabletops are stored in your warehouse. You create a custom attribute like “Shelf A” to note their exact location.
