This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Creating and Sending an Invoice

The easiest way to send an invoice is by clicking “Send to Client” from the Billing tab of your project.

  • If your client has already signed and paid part of their balance, Goodshuffle Pro will automatically update the invoice to reflect payments made.

  • You can edit the subject line and message before sending.

  • If your client has already signed and only needs to pay, you can re-send the invoice:

    • This does not require them to re-sign, since the digital contract already includes their signature.

    • Re-sending simply provides them with a link to pay instantly online.

    • To do this, click the blue “Send to Client” button.

Note: Invoices can only be sent from a Signed Contract (Green), Quotes will be sent from projects in the New Projects (Yellow), Quote Sent (Blue), or Unsigned Changes (Red) states.

What Your Client Sees

Once your client receives the invoice email, here’s what they’ll experience:

Invoice Email

  • Clients will see a branded email with a button labeled “View Invoice.”

  • Clicking this button takes them directly to the signed contract and payment page.

  • If the contract is already signed and unchanged, clients do not need to re-sign.

Contract Preview

  • Scrolling further down, clients see the contract itself, with a payment summary at the bottom.

  • This includes:

    • Amount already paid

    • Subtotal

    • Taxes

Payment Options

  • Clients can pay by check, e-check, cash, credit card, or any method your business accepts.

  • Once you enter the payment in Goodshuffle Pro, the system will automatically recalculate balances.
