When you increase the quantity of a package on a contract, Goodshuffle Pro automatically multiplies all the items inside that package accordingly.
How It Works
Let’s say you have a package for a Dance Floor setup that includes:
1 Frame Cable
1 Stake
4 Tents
10 Dance Floor Sections
If you set the package quantity to 2, the system will automatically update the total quantities of each component:
2 Frame Cable
2 Stake
8 Tents
20 Dance Floor Sections
This saves you time and ensures consistent, accurate inventory usage across all contracts.
Things to Keep in Mind
Package multiplication affects inventory counts and pricing.
If your package has accessories, they will multiply as well.
You can always click into the package to review and manually adjust individual items if needed.
Good to know: editing the quantity of a package content on a project decouples it from the package
When you manually change an individual item's (content) quantity inside a package, that item decouples from the package and keeps its own share (ratio) of the package total. If you later change the package quantity, the decoupled item scales by its ratio rather than snapping back to match the package — so its quantity can differ from the package wrapper. For example, a child item set to 256 of a 296 package becomes 169 when the package drops to 195. To realign the item, set its quantity to match the package, or remove the package and add it back, which resets all contents to the package total.
