How Can I See an Item's Revenue in a Given Time Period?

Learn how to use the Item Usage report to see how much revenue an item has generated during a selected time period in Goodshuffle Pro.

Written by Sierra Burton

This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Want to evaluate how a specific inventory item is performing? You can quickly view a detailed revenue report by using the “Item Usage” feature.

How to Access the Item Usage Report

  1. Go to your “Inventory” tab.

  2. Click on the item you’d like to review.

  3. Navigate to the “Usage” tab.

From here, you can select from a list of preset time ranges to explore — including the next or previous 30/60 days, 3/6/12 months, Month to Date (MTD), and Year to Date (YTD). The system will display key performance insights for the selected period.

Note: The Item Usage tab only supports the preset time ranges listed above. If you need to filter by a specific custom date range, you can do so from your Inventory view by adding the Gross Revenue column — see How Do I Generate an Item Revenue Report and Sort the Highest and Lowest Revenue Items? for instructions.

What the Report Includes

  • Gross Revenue: The total revenue this item earned during the selected period.

  • Percent of Category Revenue: The percentage of revenue this item contributed within its category.

  • Projects: The number of projects that included this item.

  • Min / Max: The lowest and highest revenue this item earned on a single project.

  • Average per Project: The average revenue generated per project that included this item.

  • Gross Category Revenue: The total revenue earned by this item’s secondary category.
