You can print Goodshuffle Pro Barcodes from any standard printer or Zebra label printer. This gives you the flexibility to choose what fits your business. Whether you're printing a few barcode labels on a standard printer or running high-volume thermal printing, here’s what we recommend.

Label Printer (Recommended for Most Users)

Best for: Durable, professional labels and high-volume printing.

  • Printer Type: Thermal Label Printer

  • Brand: ZebraZD411

  • Label Type: Duraready 1020D

  • Label Size: High-res labels 1.125 x 3.5 White BOPP plastic label

  • Use Cases: Items that are regularly handled, transported, or exposed to weather.

Why this works well:
Thermal printers are fast, don’t require ink, and produce crisp, scannable barcodes that stick well to cases, bins, gear, or shelves. They’re ideal for event pros who need long-lasting, easy-to-read labels.

Standard Printer (Works in a Pinch)

Best for: Occasional use or printing multiple barcodes on one sheet.

  • Printer Type: Inkjet or Laser Printer

  • Label Format: Avery-style sheets 2.625" x 1" Address Labels. We recommend ordering labels from Sheetlabels.com

  • Use Cases: Quick label runs, testing, or creating batches.

Why this works well:
Goodshuffle Pro lets you print barcode labels in bulk to standard 8.5" x 11" sheets. This is a good option if you're just getting started and want to test things out without investing in new equipment.

Switching Between Printers

You can choose your label format each time you generate and print a barcode in Goodshuffle Pro. That means you can start with a standard printer and upgrade later to a thermal printer—no setup changes required.

Final Tips

  • Durability matters: Use weather-resistant or vinyl labels for outdoor gear or anything exposed to wear and tear.

  • Stick smart: Make sure your label adheres well to the item surface—clean the surface before applying when possible.
