Overview

Barcoding in Goodshuffle Pro allows you to print inventory barcodes easily, helping you streamline your Fulfillment workflow and reduce errors.d

Recommended Printers and Labels

Any standard printer can be used to print your labels. We recommend using 2.625" x 1" Address Labels- Standard White Labels. We order them from Sheetlables.com

For specific Label Printers, Goodshuffle Barcoding is compatible with ZebraZD411, which will support high-resolution labels up to 2.2" wide.

🛑 You must use label sizes that match the current configuration: 2.625 inches by 1 inch. If you print using a different label size, we cannot guarantee that the label will be formatted or printed correctly.

  4. Select the item(s) you want to print barcodes for.

  5. Click the yellow banner icon and select “Print Barcode”.

Step 2: Choose your preferred Printer

  1. Choose your preferred printer (Goodshuffle Pro supports any standard printers). You can also choose the Label Writer Printer if you have a Zebra ZD411.

🖨️ Important: The only Label Writer printer supported by Goodshuffle Pro is the Zebra ZD411. While you may have a different label printer, we cannot guarantee that labels will print correctly with any device other than the ZD411.

If you don't have a ZD411, you can still print barcodes using a standard A4 printer and apply the labels manually.

2. Click continue

Step 3: Set Barcode Quantity

  • Enter the number of labels you want to print for each item.

  • You cannot exceed the current quantity of that item in inventory.

  • Load your labels into the selected printer.

Click “Print”.

⚠️ Do not refresh the screen while printing. This may interrupt your connection to the printer.

Step 4: Apply Barcodes to Inventory

  • Carefully peel and apply each label to your inventory item.

  • Make sure the barcode is:

    • Visible

    • Easy to scan

  • Test barcodes with a mobile device to ensure readability.

Best Practices

  • Use high-quality label paper to prevent smudging or fading.

  • Apply labels in a consistent location on similar items for faster scanning.

  • Test barcodes before use to avoid scanning issues in low-light or angled conditions.

  • Reprint barcodes as needed if they become damaged or unreadable.

By following these steps, you’ll ensure smooth barcode printing and inventory tracking, reducing errors and improving efficiency in your fulfillment process.
