Adding custom attributes is a great way to categorize inventory items that don't fit into standard options—like a rare car, specialty décor, or one-of-a-kind rentals.
How to Create a Custom Attribute
Go to the “Inventory” tab on your dashboard.
Click “Add Product” to create a new item, or use the three-dot menu next to an existing item to select “Edit”.
After entering the general item details, scroll down to the “Attributes” section.
Click “Add Attribute”, then scroll in the dropdown and select “Define New Custom Attribute.”
Enter your desired attribute name (e.g., Vehicle Type or Material Finish), then click “Save.”
Using Your Custom Attribute
Once added, your new attribute will appear in the product details and can be used for:
Filtering your inventory
Searching for grouped items
Tagging niche or specialized products
This helps streamline sorting, reporting, and finding unique items more easily.
