When creating or editing inventory items in Goodshuffle Pro, selecting the correct category ensures accurate tracking, reporting, and display in your account.

Product categories apply to all Product inventory items (Learn more about Products).
Service categories apply to all Service items (Learn more about Services).
Packages can use both Product and Service categories (Learn more about Packages)
💡 You can use Control+F (PC) or Command+F (Mac) to quickly search for specific categories within the PDF.
Auto-Selecting Categories in Inventory
When you're typing the title of a new inventory item, Goodshuffle Pro will automatically attempt to suggest and assign a category based on your input.
The system waits until you stop typing to make its suggestion.
If a match is found, the category will auto-fill.
If no suitable category is detected, the category field will remain blank, and you'll be prompted to choose one manually.
This speeds up item creation while still giving you full control.
