Let's say you are giving your client 300 feet of drape and you charge your drape rentals by the foot. You can now show your client just the total for the drape rental, without showing quantity or unit price by adjusting the project settings or your account settings.
Adjust Project Settings in the top right corner:

Note: It isn't possible to hide unit prices without also hiding item quantities. These two settings cannot be shown or hidden independently — when both are hidden, only the line item total will display.
