This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
If your local tax authority has changed its rate—say, from 0.25% to 0.30%—you can easily update the value in your account so it applies to all new projects moving forward.
⚠️ Only an Account Owner or Admin can perform this update.
Step-by-Step: Updating a Tax Rate
Go to your Policies and Taxes tab in Account Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and locate the Tax Type you want to edit (e.g., Sales Tax - Rental).
Click the small box icon to open that Tax Type.
In the upper-right corner of the tax window, click the pencil icon to edit the Tax Type.
5. In the “Configured Rates” section, locate the area you'd like to update (e.g., CO: Arapahoe County).
6. Enter the new rate into the appropriate field (e.g., update 0.25% to 0.30%).
7. Click the green check mark ✅ to save the change.
✅ This will only affect new projects created moving forward. It does not change tax rates on existing quotes or contracts.
If you need to apply this new rate to an existing project, you can recalculate the tax on the project (Article).
