This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
You can set up default tax behavior for different inventory types so that taxes are automatically applied when new items are added. This saves time and ensures consistency across your projects.
How To Adjust the Default Tax Settings
Follow these steps to update your default tax types:
From your left-hand menu, click “Account.”
Select “Account Settings.”
Click on the “Policies and Taxes” tab.
Choose the tax type you want to edit and select view(e.g., “Sales Tax – Rental”).
Select the "Edit Icon" in the Tax Type
Click the “Settings” tab inside that tax type.
Under “Auto Apply Tax Type,” check the boxes for the item types you'd like this tax to automatically apply to:
Products
Services
Logistics
Packages
Vehicles
Custom Items
Click “Save” to confirm your changes.
💡 This setting only affects new inventory. It will not change tax on existing quotes or contracts.
