This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
If you already have important data—like clients, inventory, or contracts—stored outside Goodshuffle Pro, you can bring it all into the system in just a few steps. The method you use will depend on the type of information and whether you're connected to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Contacts
There are two ways to bring your existing client information into Goodshuffle Pro:
Option 1: Import From QuickBooks Online
If you use QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can import your existing clients directly. Follow this guide: Upload Contacts From QuickBooks Online.
💡 Pro Tip: This is the fastest way to bring in your contacts—no spreadsheet needed!
Option 2: Upload With Our Onboarding Team
If you don't use QBO, our onboarding team can help upload your client list for you.
Steps:
Download and open the Directory Upload Template. Directory Upload Template.xlsx
Copy your client information into the sheet.
Do not change the header row—this will invalidate the import.
Make sure each row includes at least one of the following:
First Name and Last Name or Contact Email
OR Business Name
How entries will be created:
Business Name only: Creates a company contact.
First/Last Name or Email only: Creates a client contact.
Both Business and Client info: Creates both and links the client to the company.
Once complete, send your file back via the blue chat bubble.
Inventory
Once your contacts are in, you can add your inventory using:
Standard Add — add one product at a time.
Batch Add — add multiple products quickly.

Contracts
To keep your records in one place, recreate each contract as a project in your Goodshuffle Pro account. You can also attach your original contract as a file to the project for easy reference.
