This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
The Custom Columns, 'Purchased Products Only Subtotal (Signed)' and 'Rental Products Only Subtotal (Signed)', in your Project List help you break down revenue by product type. This makes it easier to track how much your team earns from rentals vs. purchases.
Where to Find the Product and Rental Custom Columns
You can access these Custom Columns in several places throughout your account:
Project List
Select them from the Custom Columns dropdown or click 'Edit Columns' to add them to your view (article).
You can also sort each column by revenue, highest to lowest, on signed contracts by clicking the blue arrow to the right of each column.
Pro Tip: Don't forget you can filter your Project List by the Sales Lead to track the Rentals and Sales for a specific teammate (Guide).
The Totals section on a Project.
The Billing tab, when expanded (under Payments).
The Payments listed in the Client Activity Report.
Understanding Each Custom Column
Purchased Products Only Subtotal (Signed)
Displays only the subtotal for products with a 'Purchase Price' pricing structure
If you override a purchase item on a project, it will still be included in this subtotal
Rental Products Only Subtotal (Signed)
Displays only the subtotal for products with rental pricing structures (e.g., daily, hourly, or flat fee pricing structure rentals)
This is especially helpful if you want to calculate how much to pay your team based only on rentals they’ve booked during a specific period
⚠️ Important: Although this subtotal can support commission tracking, it should not be relied upon as a complete commission-reporting tool. It is most effective as a reference point to assist your broader payout or reporting processes.
All Products Subtotal (Signed)
Reflects the combined subtotal for all products on signed projects (purchases + rentals).
Why This Breakdown Matters
These Custom Columns help you:
Differentiate revenue streams between purchased items and rentals
Support payout tracking for rentals if your team’s earnings are tied to booked rental revenue
Maintain clarity in reporting by having separate subtotals as well as a combined total
