This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Outbound Transfers (previously called “Payouts”) refer to funds sent from Stripe to your bank after a customer makes a payment.

Credit Card Transfers

Stripe sends Outbound Transfers for credit card payments daily, which contain payments processed two days prior.

  • Example:

    • Payment received on Tuesday → Funds arrive Thursday

    • Payment received on Friday → Funds arrive Tuesday

ACH Transfers

ACH funds are transferred only after the transaction clears, typically within 3–5 business days.

Time Zone Reminder

Stripe operates on the UTC time zone. Payments must be submitted by midnight UTC to be included in that day’s Outbound Transfer.

This translates to:

  • 5–6 p.m. ET

  • 2–3 p.m. PT

Payments received after that time will be processed the following day.

Refund Holds

Stripe may pause transfers to your bank if you refund more than you’re currently collecting. This is to prevent negative balances.
