This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
Archiving projects in Goodshuffle Pro helps keep your Projects List clean and focused. Whether you're finishing an event, clearing canceled jobs, or tidying your dashboard, archiving lets you focus only on what's active.
When Should I Archive a Project?
Archiving projects removes them from your “Open Projects” folder so you can focus on upcoming, active events.
You should archive a project when:
The project is completed, and all payments have been received
The project is canceled
📌 When you mark a project as “Lost”, it will be archived automatically.

Why Can’t I Archive a Project?
You cannot archive future projects unless they are marked as “Lost.”
Archiving is intended to help you clean up:
Past projects that are complete, or
Future projects that are no longer moving forward
If a project is still scheduled for the future and hasn’t been marked as lost or canceled, it won't be eligible for archiving.
How to Archive a Future Project
Mark the project as “Lost”
It will be automatically archived
Tip: Check the Project Timeline to ensure the event has already occurred or is no longer relevant.
How to Archive a Single Project
Want to remove a completed project from your “Open Projects” list? Archiving is the way to go! Archiving a project is best practice once:
All item movement is complete, and
Full payment has been received
Steps to Archive a Project:
Open the project.
Click “More” in the top-right corner.
Select “Archive Project.”
Once archived, the project will be removed from your “Open Projects” view.
Note: Archived projects are not deleted. You can still:
Search for them
Duplicate them
Reference past details as needed
Where are my Archived Projects?
To view archived projects:
Go to your Projects tab
Check the box for “Include Archived Projects” in the bottom-left corner
How to Bulk Archive Projects
Bulk archiving projects removes them from your “Open Projects” folder, allowing you to focus on upcoming, active projects.
You should bulk archive projects when:
They are completed and fully paid
They have been canceled
They’ve been marked as Lost (these archive automatically)
Steps to Bulk Archive:
Go to your Projects tab.
Use filters like Project Status or Fulfillment Status to find completed or canceled jobs.
Select multiple projects using checkboxes (or select all).
Click “Bulk Archive” → “Continue” → “Archive Projects”
What’s the Difference Between Closing Fulfillment and Archiving a Project?
Action | What it does | When to use |
Close Fulfillment | Indicates item movement is done | When you've checked in/out all items |
Archive Project | Removes the project from Open Projects | When the job is fully wrapped and paid |
The fulfillment status is meant to show that physical work with items is complete (e.g., item is checked back in). Archiving is for removing the project from your workflow once everything is settled, including payments.
Example: You may close fulfillment, but keep the project open while waiting for final payment.
